The starting point of the design work is to design products that are loved and long-lasting products.

The high quality of our products is formed by:

1) of high-quality materials,

2) of high-quality work and

3) quality control.

All our products must meet our high quality standards. Our own design and product development team works closely with our suppliers during the product development process, so that the end result is as sustainable and high-quality as possible.

We also conduct extensive objective quality control, especially for our umbrellas, tote bags and Design Jewelry Reflectors. External inspectors test, among other things, the functionality of the mechanics and the color and wear resistance of the fabrics. The quality level we demand is significantly higher than general standards, which is why we are happy to grant, for example, a one-year warranty for our umbrellas.

Our type-tested reflective and personal protective products

Our Lasessor Design Jewelry reflectors and our Lasessor x Moomin safety products are type-approved (in accordance with the Personal Protective Equipment Regulation (EU) 2016/425) and certified (according to the visual personal protective equipment standard EN17353:2020) by the world's leading certification company SGS (SGS/Fimko 0598, Takomotie 8, 00380 Helsinki). . The products have therefore been researched, tested and found to be safety products that meet the standards of the EU directive on personal protective equipment.

Goal: to be a responsible commercial operator on the side of people and the environment

Lasessor complies with international human rights defined by the UN in its Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We also comply with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the basic rights of workers defined by the international labor organization ILO, as well as environmental legislation. We also require the same from our suppliers and partners in their own business, and we require them to commit to Lasessor's Social Responsibility Commitment.

We strive to ensure that all our production facilities have an authorized Amfori BSCI, SEDEX or similar certificate, in order to be sure, e.g. about the working conditions of the workers who manufacture the products, fair remuneration and the social responsibility of the factories. Currently, up to 90% of our factories belong to the Amfori BSCI corporate responsibility system.
